Day 6: Vail!

The drive from Durango to Vail is a fun one. Lasting 5 hours, the road winds through the western side of the Rockies following different rivers and presenting daunting cliffs on all sides. We woke up early and decided to make a few stops on the drive for fishing and hiking. While we didn't find a good fishing spot, we ended up hiking up a mountain right on the side of the road. We got a new perspective from the top and gained some understanding for how difficult physical activity is at 10,000 feet.

We finally got to the Vail area around 6 pm and checked into our HOTEL! in the nearby town of Eagle. The freezing night temperatures of Vail gave us the necessary inspiration to get a roof over our heads this evening.

After some quick showers we got back in the van to head to the venue. Though in a weird spot, the place was absolutely packed, presumably with tourists traveling to Vail for their last week of skiing in 2016.

Once set up was complete we began our set to minimal response. It wasn't until halfway through that we hit a break through. When we started our new song, 'Pool Rock' everyone got up to dance, and that's where they stayed the rest of the night. This was sure to be another amazing show for us on the Colorado Tour. Here's the Setlist...
